Manuela came from Germany to Canada at the age of nineteen and has been working in the Tourism sector ever since.

Pottery was something she always wanted to try and once she did, she found her true passion. She loves to “play in the mud“, whether it is with clay in the studio or in the garden, it’s very relaxing. Nature is Manuela's biggest inspiration.  Decorating her work with anything that she sees or finds in the outdoors becomes a part of her work.

Adding texture to the project with either rolling, pressing, carving or sculpting, gives each piece a different effect and makes them unique.

You can find Manuela's work at the Studio 2880, Farmers Market in Prince George, Heartstrings in Smithers and Craft Fairs.
