Overview
A terrific course for people who have completed the Beginners' Wheel course and are ready to move on. Basic techniques are reinforced through the exploration of form. New skills are developed through more complex throwing projects. Class critiques are used to help students refine their work and develop a critical eye. Students are encouraged to use the studio for practice during their six weeks of instruction and four weeks of studio time. Typical throwing projects include mugs, jugs, bowls, plates, platters, lidded containers, chip and dip platters, candle holders and more.
